As many may be well aware that bb creams are a hot topic right now, they are everywhere!
Many cosmetic brands ranging from drugstore to high end brands are delving in and coming up with new and improved formulas each claiming a new miracle which is said to hide blemishes and even out mismatched skin tones.
The downside to this bb cream would be the shade selection, there is only three shade options in the combination/oily range and that is a light shade, a medium shade and a medium dark shade. The shade that I picked up was the light shade as the medium I found to be quite dark and more on the orange side.
The texture of this bb cream is quite a watery one, despite this it still produces quite a nice and even amount of coverage and blends remarkably well with either a brush, sponge or fingers. Depending on the coverage you are looking for, one layer will even out the skin tone and cover any unwanted dark circles and some redness (I found this to be the perfect amount of coverage for me) However if you do have some blemishes that you want covered, you can easily go in with a second layer and concealer the remaining redness, without giving off a cakey look. Whilst saying this I find that it is just as easy to go in with concealer than adding a second layer.
This bb cream claims to be oil controlling and have matte finish. As I have combination skin, I thought why not try this out without a primer and see how it fairs throughout the day and i was not disappointed at all!
I put this on at around 10:30am and found that throughout the day I didn’t have to touch this up in the slightest, I found that I didn’t have to go and reach for my mattifying powder at all! At 8:30pm when taking off my makeup I found that it had only a slight shine to it but nothing that would need touching up.
Overall I am very impressed with this bb cream and would definitely recommend this to anyone with combination skin.
