Beauty/Shopping Questions Answered!

Hey Guys!

This blog post is going to be a bit different from the others, this is going to be still centred around beauty, but it is also a way to kind of get to know me. These a questions that really just say which products I love and also some tips which you can use :)
What’s your favourite eye shadow colour to wear?
All the shades from the e.l.f Natural eye palette or Designer Brands Whipped Mineral Eyeshadow Creme to Powder in Ivory.
Which feature do you play up the most?
Probably my lips or eyes
What’s the one product you wouldn’t leave your house without?
If I am not wearing lipstick, The Nivea Essentials Lip Balm, love the stuff!
Favourite makeup brand?
Yves Saint Laurent & Nars

What’s your favourite makeup look ?
Deep Red lipstick with a cat eye
Favourite Shop?
I would have to say Cotton On or Gloss
Which product have you found yourself re-purchasing OVER and OVER again?
Maybelline the falsies mascara.
Which product would you NEVER repurchase again and why?
Ooo I would have to say the Nivea Visage be beautiful moisturising, just because it is a tinted moisturiser which is not appealing in the slightest. Mainly because it only comes in one colour and it makes my skin feel dirty.
Favourite drugstore makeup brand?
Rimmel
One beauty treatment you would always PAY to have done?
Having my makeup done for me :P
One beauty treatment you would NEVER pay to have done?
I would have to say getting a spray tan, I just don't find them appealing and wouldn't want someone spraying me with stuff whilst  in my underwear.
Your favourite makeup brand, if only one could exist?
Yves Saint Laurent
Where do you buy most of your clothes from?
Cotton On :)

The best tip/advice you can give regarding beauty and makeup?
To always moisturise and to use primer under your foundation, this not only helps mattify oily skin but also ensures that your foundation lasts longer and even prevents slipping
Favourite moisturiser?
Nivea Visage Young Mattifying
Favourite nail polish brand?
BC. CO

Disappointing Products

Hey All!
It's Sunday here in Australia and you know what that means.... a new video!

I thought that this video would be the best way to tell you some of the products which have left me disappointed, rather than just writing about it. This is because I feel that this is a better way to get across exactly what I mean and I can probably explain it better through video than I could when writing it.

I just uploaded a Disappointing Products video.

Come and check it out! http://youtu.be/iz1iNR9Apd0

Real Techniques Brushes

Its Wednesday!!!
Hey All!

All week I have been worried that these little beauties wouldn't arrive on time for me to put this blog post up today, yet luckily for me they arrived this morning and I was able to give them a whirl.

I was quick to get them out of the box and use them and OMG! they are amazing I purchased the Expert Face Brush and the Blush Brush and let me just say they are amazingly soft.

The Expert Face Brush allowed me to easily apply my foundation with a breeze. There was no worrying about brush lines (with I usually do when using my other brushes). This was so easy and simply to use, I have no clue why I hadn't purchased them earlier.

The Blush Brush holds the perfect amount on the brush so that it can be easily applied to the face. Not only this, but it is the perfect size for it to be able to be applied to the cheeks without it looking like there is to much on the face.

With these brushes I found that I was able to get that flawless finish with both my foundation and blush. I have actually never been happier with my makeup than when I am using these brushes!
I will definitely be buying more of these and highly recommend that if you are in the market for new brushes to try these out!

Rimmel Foundation

Hey All!
It's Wednesday Post Time!!!
So a few weeks ago I posted about my love for Rimmel's Show Off lipsticks. Well this week I thought I should also post on the other products which I have also been loving from Rimmel and that is their foundation.
I believe that this year Rimmel have really stepped up their game by producing great products as of late.
Not only did they bring out great new lipsticks but they have also brought out some great foundations, which could even compete with those high end make up brands such as M.A.C or NARS.

These two foundations are the Wake Me Up Foundation and the Match Perfection Foundation.

Both these foundations have a great colour range and blend well.

The Wake Me Up Foundation does exactly what it says once applying this foundation, it makes you appear a lot more awake. I find that this product is especially good under the eye area. It is a great product and is easily blend-able, when applying this product I prefer to use my hands or a sponge as I feel that is when I get the best results from this foundation. This foundation last for hours and is durable even when doing exercise (I found this out on my birthday when my friends took me to an indoor trampoline centre as a suprise).

The Match Perfection Foundation whilst it may not have as great of a coverage as the Wake Me Up foundation does, it is a easy blend-able foundation that can be applied with either a brush, sponge or with the hands. However I recommend a brush as I find that this method is the best way to ensure a great coverage. After applying I will powder as I just prefer it that way, however either way its durable and stays the whole day without any worries.

These are just two of the many products that I have been enjoying from Rimmel and I hope this has helped you in some kind of way for making a choice of which foundation may suit your skin type.

Dove Makeup Remover & Beauty Cleanser

Hey guys!
I purchased this produce recently and straight away after using it I knew I would definitely have to blog about it.

The first product is the Dove Makeup  Remover. Whilst in the bottle it does appear that it is a liquid remover. However it actually comes out as a foam, after 3 pumps you have the perfect amount to apply to the face. I usually apply this with dry hands and a dry face, this is so the product can remove the most makeup as possible. Simply leave on for 10-15 seconds, then with a dampened cotton pad wipe the face and prepare to be amazed! This takes off all the makeup, leaving the skin makeup free and soft to touch.

The second product that I purchased was the beauty cleanser by Dove, now I only really purchased this as it recommended it for after using the makeup remover. Now whilst the face is still wet, add a small amount of cleanser to your hand with a bit of water, this will turn the product into a lather, making it easy to apply to the face. After massaging into the skin, wait a couple of seconds, then just simply wash it off and pay your face dry with a towel.

This treatment I find leaves my skin feeling nice and refreshed, knowing that it has removed all the makeup and dirt my skin has taken on during the day.

See you next time.
Bye :) xxx
